Reason you should buy Volkswagen Polo?

The German auto major Volkswagen is very well known worldwide and highly acclaimed for the typical German characteristics that they bring to the design of their cars. Superior German engineering and eye for every detail, along with the premium status of their brand are appreciated throughout the world. Though the Indian car market is more driven by the cost conscious mind set, Volkswagen has established itself as a trusted premium auto maker in spite of facing tough competition from the domestic and more familiar brands in India. The Polo is one of the main offerings from this German company that has been launched in India to grab its fair share of the market. The Polo is in fact, a classic premium car from Volkswagen which has surely fixed the hold of the German auto makers in the Indian context.

With the new edition of the Polo, Volkswagen has introduced some updates which are mostly to the interiors. Few people would not agree that the Polo has an exceptionally stylish and modern look to it. The Polo is perhaps the most wanted hatchback owing to its stylish looks. It emanates a sporty feel about it with its streamlined and graceful appeal, in spite of being a hatchback. It has been given balanced dimensions with a length of 3971mm, a width of 1682mm and a height of 1469mm. The slim grille in the front accentuated with silver and the sharp head lights render it an aggressive look, while the slender curvatures add a touch of classy appeal to it. Stepping inside that car, you would find that the interiors are decently spaced, it is neither too spacious nor crunchy, offering just enough room which is comfortable. The dual tone dashboard along with the touch screen audio visual system at the centre is a sheer delight.

The inner machinery of the Volkswagen Polo remains unchanged.  The diesel version of Polo comes with 1.5-litre TDI engine with a displacement capacity of 1498cc. It is composed of 4 cylinders and is coupled with a 5 speed manual transmission system. The peak power output of the diesel engine is 104bhp at 4400rpm. The petrol model of the Polo comes with a 1.2-litre TSI engine with 4 cylinders with a little less displacement capacity of 1197cc. Power generated by this engine is 104bhp at 5000rpm. The petrol variant also comes with a 7 speed DSG gearbox which ensures easy and smooth shifting of gears.  Volkswagen has heightened the security features of the Polo with the addition of ABS and EBD along with hill hold control and electronic stabilisation program along with the already present features like dual airbags, rear parking sensors, multi function display etc.

Polo on road price which starts at 5.93 lakh is no doubt lucrative that includes a smooth handling and comfortable ride, along with ample space and safety features, all packed into an amazingly stylish car body.
